Ryan Garcia recently mentioned that he would be willing to have a fist fight during his one-year suspension from boxing, and it sounds like there is a spot available for him.

Dave Feldman, president of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, told TMZ he was “ready to send Garcia to one of their international events.”

Due to his suspension for testing positive for the performance-enhancing drug Ostarine from his fight against Devin Haney in April, Garcia would not be eligible to fight in America. Fortunately, BKFC has several upcoming events overseas, including a card in the United Kingdom in August and another in Spain in October.

Garcia told TMZ on Sunday that he was eager to fight after learning of his suspension and was willing to explore new avenues outside of boxing.

“I like ‘Suga’ Sean (O’Malley) because he defended me (after cheating allegations). But if he really wants to do it in the UFC, I’ll do it. Or bare fisted. Shit, I’m ready to fight anybody at this point,” he said.

It seems as though Garcia’s wish may be coming true. It is not yet clear who would be a serious opponent for the 25-year-old, but fans will surely tune in to see him try his hand at bare-knuckle boxing.
