Apple has reportedly stopped work on its next-generation high-end Vision Pro device and is instead focusing on a cheaper model that is scheduled to launch in late 2025.

Apple has told at least one supplier that it has stopped work on its next high-end Vision headset, an official at a manufacturer that makes key components for the Vision Pro said. The pullback comes after analysts and supply chain partners reported declining sales of the $3,500 device.

The company is still working to launch a cheaper Vision product with fewer features before the end of 2025, said people involved in the supply chain and a person involved in making the headsets.
