Megan Thee Stallion returned to Houston on the Hot Girl Summer tour

Megan Thee Stallion’s sold-out shows at the Toyota Center were more than just concerts. The whole weekend was a Hot Girl homecoming.

“I miss you already, Houston hotties,” she wrote in an Instagram post Sunday evening.

There were appearances from rap legends, a block party and several uniquely Houston surprises. Here’s how it all went down.

Megan brought in several surprise guests during her two sold-out shows in Houston. On Friday, Bun B, Lil Keke and Slim Thug joked that he needed blood pressure pills after standing so close to the Hot Girl Coach.

“Lil Meg is playing so hard. It’s so crazy that the TEXAS LEGENDS who inspired me are coming to support me on my first ever tour,” she wrote on Instagram.

Saturday’s show included appearances by Z-Ro and Monaleo, whose mother was in the crowd, unaware that her daughter would be on stage. Monaleo shared her appreciation for the moment in a lengthy Instagram post:

“The way the arena roared when I came out warmed my heart so much and it was just confirmation that I was meant to be here all along. Thank you so much @theestallion for giving me the opportunity to sharing the stage with a woman I’ve loved and supported for years before becoming an artist myself Last night was a dream come true, I still cry sometimes and think it can’t be! -not made for me and then I have opportunities like this and think why NOT me? In fact, WHO BETTER THAN ME? To any artist who is discouraged and feeling unnoticed, YOUR TIME IS COMING!!!!!! !!!!!

The Pearland High School Band and the Pearland Prancers dance team surprised Megan with a performance backstage at the Toyota Center. Megan is all smiles in a brief video clip from the surprise show.

“Issa Hot Girl Homecoming! What better way for @theestallion to arrive at the Toyota Center than welcoming her in style with @pearlandhsband and @pearlandprancers,” the caption read.

The Toyota Center gave Megan several gifts, including a personalized PS5 sticker and a controller. It featured an anime-inspired pink and blue design of Megan and Rockets’ mascot, Clutch.

“This was such a fun little project, I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to still do commission work sometimes, especially for Meg?! bro like wtf!!” wrote Bridget Lynch, who created the pieces.

Megan and Glo Rilla received custom rhinestone-encrusted Rockets jerseys. They were created by Clarion Burleson of Clay’s Customs.

“It was so HARD to keep this a secret,” she wrote on Instagram. I’ve never rhinestoned a swimsuit a day in my life Yeah it’s official! I’m classed as a celebrity customizer now lol, there’s nothing you can say to change my mind!”

Brightside Coffee, a mobile coffee bar, created Megan-inspired drinks that she featured on her Instagram. Both designs are taken from the current era of Megan’s snake.

Several behind-the-scenes photos show Megan in a white dress adorned with the Texans’ Toro logo. She didn’t wear it on stage but posed for several photos on her Instagram.

The Pete & Thomas Foundation hosted a block party at MacGregor Park to celebrate his return home. Megan wasn’t there, but the fun included Popeyes chicken, a DJ, kids’ activities and more. Pete & Thomas is the nonprofit organization created by Megan to provide resources to local underserved communities.
