Kangana Ranaut speaks out about the attack on Raveena Tandon and says: “She would have been lynched…”

Kangana Ranaut stands by Raveena Tandon after her recent attack in Mumbai, calling the incident “violent” and condemning road rage.

The BJP candidate from Mandi also demanded a reprimand of those responsible and expressed her support via Instagram stories.

Kangana wrote, “What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. If 5-6 other people from the opposing group were present, she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage. These people must be reprimanded. They must not be allowed to get away with such violent and malicious behaviour.”

Earlier, the Mumbai Police, while investigating the road rage incident involving actress Raveena Tandon, confirmed that her car did not collide with anyone, an official statement said on Sunday. PTI reported.

Contradicting the claims in a viral video in which a man claimed that Raveena’s driver hit his mother, leading to an assault, CCTV footage from near the building in Khar where the incident took place shows the women near the actor’s car, but not hit by it. The video shows local residents accusing Raveena and her driver of assaulting three women.

“The incident took place on Carter Road in Bandra on Saturday evening,” police said. While no FIR has been filed, an entry has been made in the station book at Khar police station, the officer added.

Their driver is said to have hit three people with his vehicle, causing the crowd to become angry and an altercation to break out, an official said.

After Raveena got out of her vehicle to speak to the crowd, she was allegedly pushed and punched, he said. In the viral video, Raveena can be heard saying, “Please don’t hit me.”

In view of the dispute, both the parties visited Khar police station and submitted written statements claiming that they have no grievances against each other. PTI reported, citing an official.
