One dead after shooting near Roosevelt Community Education Center

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A 29-year-old man has died following a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening in the 1000 block of Haskell Avenue.

Rockford police tweeted about a shooting near the Roosevelt Community Education Center last night. Police said the man was taken to a local hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
