1 dead in double shooting in St. Louis on Wednesday

According to police, the victims were privately transported to a nearby hospital following a shooting at an unknown location.

ST. LOUIS – One person was killed and another injured when they were shot in St. Louis early Wednesday morning.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, two victims arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday following a shooting at an unknown location.

According to police, one of the victims died from a gunshot wound to the head, while the other victim’s vital functions remained stable despite multiple shots.

The ongoing investigations have been taken over by the homicide squad.

No further information was available as of Wednesday morning.

The Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) is a community-based clinic in St. Louis that helps people recover from a gunshot injury. The BRIC was created to help people being discharged from the emergency room after a gunshot injury.
