Space Center Houston closed Tuesday due to water main rupture

The Houston attraction posted information on social media Monday about its closure, along with information for people with reservations or tickets.

HOUSTON — If you were planning to go to Space Center Houston on Tuesday, you might want to make other arrangements.

That’s because the attraction posted on social media Monday that it would be closed due to a water main break.

“Our priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and crew members, and we are prepared to take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe environment,” Space Center Houston said in a statement.

According to the post, all tours, camps, and events scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled. If you had reservations, Space Center Houston advised you to email them at [email protected] to see what your options are. If you purchased day tickets, they are valid for one year. And for scheduled events or tours, they ask that you call them at 281-283-4755 with any questions.
