Summerville Police Respond to Apartment Complex Incident

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) – A large police presence was reported at an apartment complex in Summerville Friday evening.

The incident occurred sometime before 9 p.m. at the Bryant at Summerville Apartments near Highway 17-A.

Witnesses at the scene reported that a woman was pulled from a body of water that appeared to be a retention pond, presumably following a police chase in the area.

The police have not yet responded to requests for information about the incident.
