Murder investigation underway in Greensboro on Venus Drive

GREENSBORO, NC — UPDATE: Suspect Lauren Fullerton has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder and animal cruelty. She is the alleged perpetrator in the stabbing death of Venus Drive resident Todd Arnold. Arnold, 59, was found with numerous stab wounds and other injuries. A dead animal was also found in the home. Fullerton will appear in court on Friday.

)On Thursday evening around 9:20 p.m., the Guilford County Sheriff was called to a disturbance on Venus Drive in Greensboro.

Officials said they arrived at a crime scene and described the incident as an isolated incident that did not pose a major threat to the public.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
