Steuben man held without bail after domestic incident: Charged with false imprisonment

On May 27, Steuben County Sheriff’s Office officers arrested Garrett S. Ragusa, 29, of Thurston following a domestic incident.

Ragusa is accused of choking and restraining another person and damaging their property.

Ragusa, who had already been convicted of a family offense in the past five years, was charged with aggravated family offense, first-degree false imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing and fourth-degree malicious damage to property.

He was arraigned before the Central Prosecution Court and held without bail.
