Patna: A minor girl was allegedly raped by five men in front of her mother in an SUV before being thrown out of the vehicle at Naubatpur police station here late on Saturday. The 14-year-old girl and her mother were also allegedly beaten. They were found unconscious on the roadside in Naubatpur by a police team called 112 and admitted to AIIMS-Patna. In her complaint on Sunday morning, the woman told police that the five men called her for a meeting near Dumri railway station on the pretext of getting her a job in Patna. “The woman said that when she arrived there with her daughter on Saturday evening, two people forced them into an SUV in which three other people were already sitting. They attacked both of them while the girl was also raped in the car,” said Phulwarisharif Sub-Division II police officer Deepak Kumar, adding that a case has been registered. “According to the complaint, the accused threw the woman and her daughter out of the SUV in Naubatpur police station area after committing the crime,” Kumar said, adding that the woman, who hails from Gaya district, threw the last few He has lived in Patna for years.Patna SSP Rajiv Mishra said a team has been constituted to investigate the case. “This case prima facie appears to be suspicious as the accused in this case are all witnesses in an important murder case in Gaya and the trial is likely to be completed soon.
