Motorcyclist killed in garbage truck accident in Danbury: police

DANBURY, CT — A 30-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a garbage truck Wednesday morning, police report.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the area of ​​14 Mill Plain Road around 6 a.m. First responders found motorcyclist Carlos Davila, 30, of Ansonia, lying in the roadway.

Davila was taken to Danbury Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The garbage truck driver remained on site and is cooperating with police, said DPD spokeswoman Erin Henry.

Mill Plain Road was closed while the Danbury Police Department Accident Investigation Team conducted the initial investigation.
