Grand Island man arrested for stalking and violating a protective order | 1340 KGFW

GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island man was arrested after police say he stalked a 30-year-old woman on Thursday, May 9, violating an active protective order.

According to Grand Island police, a 30-year-old woman reported being contacted by Marshal Lade, against whom she has an active protective order.

Officers determined the protective order was valid and that Lade had attempted to contact them by phone. The woman also stated that Lade followed her in his vehicle, which was observed by a probation officer.

According to GIPD, officers contacted Lade, who denied the incident. A check of his phone revealed he had attempted to contact the woman.

According to GIPD, Lade was found to have been in violation of the protective order since April 2024 and there were multiple arrests under the order, which demonstrated a pattern of behavior over a short period of time.

Lade would be arrested for stalking and violating protective orders – second offense. He would be booked into the Hall County Corrections Department.
