Haredi children are brutally attacked in Brooklyn

A group of ultra-Orthodox children playing on a sidewalk in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, were attacked by a cyclist. A video of the attack, which occurred a week ago, was released in the United States over the weekend and sparked widespread outrage. Police are investigating and no suspects have been arrested as of Sunday.

Security camera footage of the incident shows the attacker punching a child in the face, throwing him to the ground, and then throwing another child to the ground and kicking him repeatedly. The children fled the scene of the accident, the man got on his bike and rode away.

According to the New York Police Department, another person who was not seen in the video was injured in the incident. The attacker attacked a father and son who were also on the sidewalk in the same area. The suspect pushed the father to the ground, slightly injuring his head, before fleeing.

In another anti-Semitic attack, a 14-year-old girl was brutally attacked by another student because she was Jewish.

The victim, a 14-year-old Israeli-Canadian girl from New Brunswick, Canada, told Canadian Jewish News that she was attacked last month. The attack was captured on video and occurred in the afternoon in a parking lot near the school grounds.

The crime scene in Brooklyn

In a video posted on social media, a student can be seen running towards the teenager, throwing her to the ground and punching her repeatedly near bystanders. An older man stood a few meters away from the attack and watched the attack.

The girl was severely assaulted and suffered cuts, scratches and bruises.

According to the girl, she had been harassed by the attacker for two months. She said she tried to avoid a confrontation with the attacker that day after being suspended for five days. When the student who attacked her returned to school, the Israeli-Canadian girl was advised to use the teacher’s bathroom, stay in the school building during the day and not be left alone.
