Suspicious package prompts police operation in Wichita business center

WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) – A report of a suspicious package led police to a Wichita business Friday. It happened in the 900 block of N. Main at the Wichita Treatment Center.

When KSN News crews arrived shortly after 10 a.m., they found police tape and several WPD vehicles in front of the building.

The department’s explosive ordnance disposal team responded and the scene was cleared around 11 a.m.

KSN has contacted the WPD press secretary to find out if anything was found.
