Report: Wolcott man killed in boating accident in Vermont

WILMINGTON, VT — A Connecticut man died Sunday when he was thrown from a motorboat in the Harriman Reservoir in Wilmington, VT, Fox 61 reports. Police said they received reports of a boat collision around 2:30 p.m. that left two people in the water, one of whom was unconscious.

According to Fox 61, recreational boaters helped police find the two people in the water. Officers performed CPR and other life-saving measures on Thomas Centinaro, 67, of Wolcott, but he was pronounced dead at a landing zone where he was to be intercepted by Life Star.
