SAPD releases information on murder-suicide investigation

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) – The San Angelo Police Department has released information about a murder-suicide investigation that followed a welfare check in June.

According to a SAPD press release, officers were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of East 21st Street around 10 a.m. on June 11 to conduct a welfare check.


Upon arrival, two people were found dead inside the home. During the investigation, it was determined that 72-year-old Clinton Willie Francis Jr. was shot by 29-year-old Malneshia Clark before she took her own life.

SAPD said in the press release that it extends its deepest condolences to the “families and friends affected by this tragedy.”
