19-year-old killed in Renton shooting, police investigating

RENTON, Wash. – Renton police are investigating after a 19-year-old was shot and killed Saturday evening.

Renton police said officers had recently responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Airport Way

Arriving officers reportedly found the 19-year-old victim in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene.

During the investigation, officers located another victim who told police he was attacked by a group of men between the ages of 25 and 50. The victim said the group attacked him in the parking lot and he fled into a store.

The victim said he heard the shooting but did not see it.

Renton police said the investigation is ongoing. No information about potential suspects has been released.
