Son charged with attempted murder after stabbing: GCSO

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCBD) – A man is accused of attempting to murder his father following a stabbing incident Wednesday night, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers responded to a call to a location on Lamb Road after receiving a call about a home invasion around 8:30 p.m. Francis Walker Bone was stabbed during the altercation but told authorities he did not know his attacker.

An investigation revealed that the attacker was his son, Walker Dwane Bone. Walker was charged with attempted murder.

Francis suffered two cuts and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the sheriff’s office said. Walker was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center.
