1 dead and 1 injured after shooting in La Vergne apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – La Vergne police are investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex off Murfreesboro Road Tuesday night.

According to police, at least one person was killed and another injured in the shooting.

The injured victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The Criminal Investigation Department is currently investigating the incident.

The LVPD said there is currently no danger to the public.
