One dead in shooting at M&M Mini Mart in Jackson

JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – Jackson Police are investigating after a 43-year-old man was shot at M&M Mini-Mart.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday, May 28, shortly after 9 p.m. at the store in the 300 block of Lindsey Drive.

Jackson police said the victim, Damien Johnson, was found dead at the scene. He had been shot multiple times.

Investigators have not released any further information about a possible suspect or motive in the case.
