According to police, two people were killed in Florence on Tuesday afternoon.

A man and a woman died in the crash on Florence Boulevard, according to a post on the Florence Police Department’s Facebook page.

The victims’ ages and other information were not released because their families have not yet been notified of their deaths, police said.

The wreck blocked Florence Boulevard between Broadway Street and Darby Drive.

The road reopened around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
