St. Paul police investigating two shootings at separate graduation ceremonies | The Mighty 790 KFGO

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO/WCCO) – St. Paul police are searching for multiple suspects after two separate shootings left seven people injured.

According to police, three people were injured in a drive-by shooting at a graduation ceremony in St. Paul on Sunday evening.

According to St. Paul police, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1700 block of Rose Avenue East around 7:15 p.m.

Two women and one man were injured. One woman was shot in the leg, the other had a graze wound to the head. The man was shot in the stomach.

According to police, a black SUV fired shots as it drove past a house where people had gathered for a graduation party.

No arrests have been made and police are working to identify those responsible.

In another shooting, four people were injured during a gathering at Casey Lake Park.

Late Saturday night, shots were fired as a group of about 60 people gathered in the park.

Although a high school graduation ceremony was taking place nearby, police clarified that the shooting and the party were separate events.

The injured are a 17-year-old teenager and two 24-year-old women. All are expected to make a speedy recovery.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses of at least three shooters.
