Woman attacked by neighbor’s dog in Elmhurst: police

ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst woman reported to police this week that a neighbor’s dog attacked her and bit her in several places, police said.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South Hillside Avenue, police said.

The animal’s owner was charged with having a loose dog. Police said DuPage County Animal Services has been notified.
