Man allegedly dismembered victim with machete during road traffic aggression

An attack with a machete is currently being investigated as a case of road rage in Colerain Township. According to court documents, the incident occurred Monday when two cars stopped at a red light near the intersection of Colerain Avenue and Ronald Reagan Highway in Groesbeck. Police said two men allegedly opened a 16-year-old’s car door and then slashed his arm and leg with a machete. The victim also had his shoes stolen. The teen who was injured was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 16-year-old required 10 stitches after the attack. Patric Tucker, 38, faces several charges, including assault and aggravated robbery. Tucker was released from jail after posting $20,000 bail. Brian Benjamin, 40, was also charged with obstruction of justice. Benjamin was also released on bail. It is not clear if police are currently looking for any other suspects. The teen’s mother spoke to WLWT and said her son only got his driver’s license in April and the incident left him very anxious. According to police, two men opened the car door of a 16-year-old and then slashed his arm and leg with a machete. The victim’s shoes were also stolen.

The teenager, who suffered cuts, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 16-year-old required ten stitches following the attack.
