Suspect shot dead by police in Whitehall

Allegheny County homicide detectives were called to the scene of a suspect shot by Whitehall police Tuesday morning. The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Parkline Drive. Just before 7 a.m., Allegheny County police confirmed it was an incident they described as a “police-involved shooting.” They said the scene is currently safe and there is no danger to the public. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 continued to contact county police for more information on this developing situation.

WHITEHALL, Pennsylvania —

Allegheny County Homicide Detectives were called to the scene of a suspect shot by police in Whitehall Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Parkline Drive.

Just before 7 a.m., Allegheny County Police confirmed the incident was a “police-involved shooting.” They said the scene is currently secured and there is no threat to the public.

Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 continued to contact county police to learn more about this developing situation.
