Cyclist hit and killed on I-20 Frontage Road in Jackson

JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – Jackson Police are investigating after a bicyclist was struck and killed by a car.

Detective Tommie Brown said the incident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, on the Interstate 20 Frontage Road.

Brown said the victim is an adult male and his identity has not yet been released.

According to the investigator, the driver of the vehicle stopped and told police that he did not see the cyclist. As of Sunday, June 9, no criminal charges have been filed against the driver.
