Police report | Verbal domestic violence; perpetrator with sword at Snoqualmie Safeway; pigs on the street

May 27, 2024

Sometime late in the evening, unknown subjects broke into a vehicle in the 6500 block of West Crest View Loop SE and stole various items, including cash and a garage door opener.

A neighbor managed to retrieve video footage from his Ring camera, but it was extremely blurry and police were unable to obtain a clear description of the suspects.

May 27, 2024

A caller reported a verbal domestic argument between a mother and her adult daughter, during which the mother refused to give the daughter money for cigarettes, after which the daughter threw rocks at the mother’s window.

The offender rode away on his bicycle before police arrived. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the offender. Officers confirmed that there were no injuries and no property damage.

May 27, 2024

A victim was eating lunch in Rio Brav when someone stole his Yellow Canyon Grizl CF mountain bike from the back of his truck and drove off. The victim had security cameras on the vehicle that captured the theft. Officers searched and located the suspect. The bike was valued at approximately $2,000.

28 MAY 2024

Officers responded to a report of an unknown male wearing a hospital bracelet attempting to open a screen door around 10 p.m. and went to the Panorama Apartments. Officers arrived and searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

A caller reported a male suspect with something in his hand searching mailboxes in the 1500 block of Rock Creek Ridge Blvd in North Bend. When officers arrived, they found several mailboxes broken open and empty. It is unknown if any mail was taken. A check of the area was conducted, but officers were unable to find anyone matching the description.

May 29, 2024

A caller requested a welfare check on a male offender who was found unconscious by the fireplace outside the Snoqualmie Safeway. He then woke up carrying a sword but was not brandishing it. Officers checked the area, but the offender had disappeared before they arrived.

30 MAY 2024

During a perimeter check near Riverview Park in Snoqualmie, officers encountered an individual with an outstanding warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol. Based on the warrant, the individual was taken to the Issaquah Jail.

Officers and the department’s Psychiatrist/Community Co-Responder assisted KCAC with a welfare check on an individual who was living in a residence with what was believed to be 30 cats, but which turned out to be only 5 cats.

The concern was caused by flies buzzing around and hundreds of dead flies landing on the doorstep. Officials were able to contact the homeowner and provided the necessary resources.

A caller reported that a male offender at the North Bend Arby’s – who had previously been verbally charged with loitering in the parking lot – was back and was now in the drive-thru. Officers made contact and the offender was issued a written warning for loitering in the parking lot at the request of the district manager.

In the area of ​​208 Main Ave in North Bend, an unknown person cut the mirrors off a vehicle parked on the street. Only the glass mirrors were taken. The frame with the dangling wires remained on the vehicle. Estimated damage was $2,250.

1 JUNE 2024

A caller reported children playing on the roof of Cascade View Elementary School in Snoqualmie. When officers arrived, they did not find the teens, but did find an electric scooter parked unsecured nearby. The scooter was taken to the police station for safekeeping, as there had been a recent report of a stolen electric scooter.

2 JUNE 2024

Patrol officers discovered two occupied vehicles in Tollgate Farm Park after hours. After advising the occupants that they were trespassing, both were cooperative and left the area.

3 JUNE 2024

A North Bend homeowner reported that his car windows were smashed and his vehicle was ransacked. The person stated that nothing appeared to be missing. Information on the suspect is not available at this time.

4 JUNE 2024

A caller reported 6-7 pigs on the road near Millpond Road and SR 202 because a gate at a nearby farm had been left open. Officers responded and conducted an area check but were unable to locate the pigs. They were believed to have found their way home.

4 JUNE 2024

A caller reported that his rental car was stolen from the lower parking lot of Snoqualmie Falls. The caller said the window was smashed. No arrests have been made and there is no information on the suspect at this time.

5 JUNE 2024

A caller reported that two people were refusing to leave a store at the North Bend Outlet Mall. The caller stated that the people had been wandering around the store for hours. After three hours, the two finally left the store without incident.
