Man in Prince George’s County hit and killed by driver

Investigators are trying to find out what caused the collision.

MITCHELLVILLE, Maryland – A man was struck and killed by a driver in Mitchellville Monday night.

Officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the intersection of Enterprise Road and Chantilly Lane at approximately 9:05 p.m. following a pedestrian crash. Upon arrival, they found a man in the roadway suffering from injuries.

According to police, the man died at the scene. No information has been released about his identity, including name, age and origin.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Investigators are trying to determine what caused the collision.
