First storm warning for Thursday

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The chance of afternoon and evening storms remains over the next few days, so an initial warning is issued for Thursday.

Highs on Thursday will continue to drop a few degrees, reaching below 35 degrees in Charlotte. Thunderstorms are likely in Charlotte late in the day, some of which could be strong to severe.

On Friday, temperatures will rise above 25 degrees again and maximum temperatures will only reach around 30 degrees.

Temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius this weekend, with daily thunderstorms still possible.

Next week will look similar, with highs of around 27 degrees and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms.
