East Haven man sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexually abusing two children

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (WTNH) – An East Haven man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexually abusing two young children.

The assaults occurred between 2015 and 2019 in Branford, East Haven and Ledyard. Christian Lorig, 36, was charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering a minor and faces 10 years in prison, followed by another 10 years of sex offender probation. The children were under 10 years old at the time of the incident.

The victims and their families were present at the verdict and spoke.
