MARSHFIELD, Missouri – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a Marshfield police officer near Spur Drive in Marshfield.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances of the accident.

“A motorcyclist collided with a Marshfield Police F-150 patrol car with enough force to cause the truck to spin 90 degrees,” said Sergeant Mike McClure, spokesman for MSHP Troop D.

It is currently unknown whether the officer involved in the accident sustained any injuries.
