SOURCE SPORTS: Patrick Beverley has four games suspended for Game 6 actions

Patrick Beverley’s season is over, but he has already been suspended for the 2024-25 season. According to ESPN, Beverley was suspended four games for throwing a basketball at fans multiple times in Game 6 of the opening round of the playoffs.

Game 6 was the deciding game in the Milwaukee Bucks series. The Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers. Later that evening, Beverley had a heated encounter with ESPN producer Malinda Adams and asked her to leave the postgame media duel because she hadn’t followed his podcast.

Beverley is currently under investigation by the Marion County District Attorney’s Office for throwing the ball and hitting a fan in the head. The police have deployed investigators in the case “who are currently investigating this situation and are taking all allegations seriously.”

Beverley apologized on his podcast, stating: “I have to get better, and I will be better.” That should never have happened. Regardless of what was said, this should never have happened. As simple as that.”

Beverley also apologized directly to Adams, which she accepted.
