Edwards Vacuum’s $319 million plant: Project update, hiring news and more

GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. — Edwards Vacuum has started the hiring process for its $319 million plant under construction in Genesee County.

“We’re starting to hire the first manufacturing engineers now, and there will be more in the second half of the year,” said Jeff Mickel, project manager for Edwards Vacuum’s Genesee County plant. “This will really start to ramp up in the second half of 2025.
