One dead after Monday night’s crash in Ray County

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One person is dead following a crash in Richmond, Missouri, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. Monday evening on State Route T south of 88th Street.

According to the highway police, a car left the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
The driver died. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

He was identified as 26-year-old Jason Pettiecord. The highway police are investigating the accident.
