A teenager dies in a “farming accident” in Juab County

LEVAN, Utah (ABC4) — A teenager was killed on Tuesday in what authorities described as an “agricultural accident.”

According to a press release from the Juab County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to the scene just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The sheriff’s office said the teen died near Levan after a “farm accident,” but officials did not immediately release the teen’s age or the circumstances that led to the accident.

“Out of respect for the family, no further information will be released at this time,” the Juab County Sheriff’s Office said.

Officers from the Juab County Sheriff’s Office, Nephi City Police, Utah Highway Patrol, Utah State Parks and Levan Fire Department arrived at the scene.
