Egypt sends its condolences to Jordan for the victims of the accident involving an aid truck for Gaza

CAIRO – 24 June 2024: Egypt on Monday expressed its heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Jordan for the victims of the accident involving military trucks that were part of an aid convoy en route to the Gaza Strip.

The official spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, said on his official account on the “X” platform: “We pray to Almighty God to bless the victims of this tragic accident with his mercy, grant patience and comfort to their families, and grant a speedy recovery to the injured.”

The accident on Sunday involved three military trucks from an aid convoy on their way to the Gaza Strip because they had strayed from their route off the road (Dead Sea/Adaseh).
