Brittany Mahomes speaks out for Caitlin Clark after an incident on the field

Brittany Mahomes has publicly supported Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark. Mahomes, 28, took to Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 2, to express her encouragement following an incident in which Clark, 22, was shoved to the ground by an opponent during a game against the Indiana Fever. The incident in question concerned Chennedy Carter, guard of the Chicago Skys, who, during a game, unprovoked Clark with his shoulder and hip, which Clark to fall. At first, the referees ruled it an off-ball foul and did not review the play. However, the WNBA later upgraded the foul to a Flagrant 1 violation after reviewing it.
