Donald Trump seen for the first time after shooting at rally

Former US President Donald Trump was seen disembarking from his plane unaided in a video posted on social media by his deputy communications director early Sunday, hours after surviving an assassination attempt.

In the video posted by Margo Martin on X, Trump, wearing a navy blue suit and white shirt with no tie, is seen descending a staircase from his plane while an armed agent stands guard. His right ear, which was injured in the attempt, is not visible in the footage.

The New York Times reported that he was in New Jersey, where he would spend the night.
