Investigation into Matthew Perry’s death brings trouble for Hollywood’s “dark side”

The death of Matthew Perry could potentially expose the world of drug trafficking in Hollywood.

The Friends Alum died in October 2023 from the “acute effects of ketamine” and was found dead in a hot tub in his Los Angeles mansion.

After his death, the Los Angeles Police Department gradually involved the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in its investigation to find out who had administered the fatal amount of ketamine to Matthew.

Speak with Page SixTracy Walder, a former CIA and FBI special agent, claimed that many people could be charged.

She reported that there has been an increase in drug networks using mail fraud to send drug prescriptions, which is a federal offense punishable by up to five years in prison.

However, Matthew took ketamine himself, which makes a murder charge punishable.

“The question is what they were planning to do. They obviously knew what they were doing (dealing drugs) was wrong. But did they really know that obtaining the drugs would get him killed?” she said.

Tracy also noted that Matthew may have exchanged prescriptions with friends and had an assistant pick up the medications.
