Flack Broadcasting – Ava man injured in motorcycle crash in Lee Township

CITY OF LEE– A 19-year-old Ava man was injured in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Lee Saturday morning. The Oneida County Sheriff reported that a traffic police officer observed an overturned motorcycle on Route 26 in the Town of Lee. Upon investigation, it was determined that Nicholas Paine, the operator of the motorcycle, lost control of the motorcycle due to a mechanical failure. The loss of control caused Paine to slide a short distance. Paine was transported to Wynn Hospital for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Traffic police officers were assisted at the scene by the Lee Center Fire Department and AmCare ambulance.
