Three family members of gospel group The Nelons among seven fatalities in horrific plane crash

The Nelons – a popular American gospel family – were involved in a fatal plane crash on their way to a concert.

The tragic accident claimed the lives of seven people, including three members of the Grammy-nominated family: Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark and their daughter Amber Nelon Kistler.

The fourth member of the Nelons, Autumn Nelon Streetman, was not on board the plane at the time of the incident.

The band members were en route to Alaska on Friday to take part in the Gaither Homecoming Cruise when their plane crashed over Wyoming, sparking a massive forest fire upon impact with the ground.

According to reports, the plane caught fire during the crash, and firefighters and rescue workers immediately rushed to the scene as a large fire broke out.

The Wyoming Sheriff’s Office has confirmed there are no survivors.

Amber’s husband Nathan Kistler, family assistant Melodi Hodges and pilot Larry Haynie and his wife Melissa were also killed in the crash.

A chilling video taken shortly before boarding the ill-fated plane shows a smiling Jason addressing the group on a runway in Nebraska. The jet, believed to belong to pilot Larry, can be seen in the background of the harrowing clip as they stopped to refuel around noon.

Jason, Kelly Nelon Clark and their daughter Amber Nelon Kistler are seen smiling in the post captioned, “Gaither Alaskan Cruise Travel Vlog.”
