WHITESTOWN, Ind. – Another person working at Waste Management has died as a result of an “industrial accident,” according to Whitestown Police.

Officials believe 59-year-old Johnny Williams was struck by a company vehicle on Tuesday. He suffered “traumatic injuries” and died at the scene of the accident.

A similar death was reported at the South Indianapolis Road factory in December, when 44-year-old worker Anthony Osby was killed by a falling object.

Waste Management issued the following statement:

Safety is WM’s top priority. Yesterday’s incident is currently under investigation and all related information will be released by Whitestown Police. The WM team extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
