Putin is closely following Raisi helicopter incident: Russian official

EHRAN – Igor Levitin, an adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin, said the Russian government is closely following news of the Iranian president’s helicopter accident at the highest levels.

President Putin has been closely following the news about the Iranian president’s helicopter accident from the beginning, Levitin said in a telephone conversation with Iran’s First Vice President Mohammed Mokhber.

He also said that Russia was ready to use all its capabilities to help Iran. The Russian adviser also said that Russia sent two modern aircraft with special helicopters and 50 mountain rescuers to Tabriz on President Putin’s orders.

Mokhber thanked Russia for its support. “We hope to receive good news for the Iranian people and our friends in the world,” the senior Iranian official noted, according to Iranian media.
