Suspect arrested after multiple armed robberies in Augusta area

AUGUSTA, Georgia (WJBF) – A suspect was arrested in connection with several armed robberies in Augusta.

30-year-old Dmond Jackson, also known as Mond, is charged with armed robbery in connection with at least six incidents, four of which occurred at the same store:


  • March 24 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road
  • March 25 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road
  • March 28 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road
  • March 31 – BP on the Gordon Highway
  • April 8 – Dollar General Deans Bridge
  • April 10 – TJ Mart on Kissingbower Road

The first three robberies Jackson is accused of all took place at the TJ Mart at 1959 Kissingbower Road and all occurred within a five-day period. Jackson is alleged to have robbed the TJ Mart on the afternoons of Sunday, March 24, Monday, March 25, and Thursday, March 28.

Jackson was also wanted for armed robberies that occurred on Sunday, March 31 at BP at 2161 Gordon HWY and on Monday, April 8 at the Dollar General at 2549 Deans Bridge Road, as well as another armed robbery at TJ Mart at 1959 Kissingbower Road on Wednesday, April 10.

Jackson is also one of 30 suspects facing a total of 333 charges for a variety of alleged crimes, including drug trafficking and possession, aggravated assault and armed robbery in connection with a street gang known as Trap Money (TRVPMONEYY).
