Police say Durham men have been arrested and charged in a series of Cary burglaries

Police arrested two men Tuesday who they say are responsible for a series of burglaries in Cary.

Police arrested 34-year-old Tremain Mason and 28-year-old Deion Liles, both of Durham, who investigators identified as suspects in the burglaries. Cary police said they located Mason in Durham with assistance from the Durham Police Department and arrested him without incident.

Durham police later located Liles, who then fled from police and crashed his car on I-95. Liles was taken to the hospital with injuries from the accident and arrested.

Authorities charged Mason with 57 counts of burglary and Liles with 20 counts of burglary.
