Governor Newsom announces deployment of Incident Support Team in Texas during Tropical Storm Beryl

The Incident Support Team consists of a group of highly qualified specialists who provide technical support to local authorities as well as management and coordination of US&R resources.

Last year, California sent members of Urban Search and Rescue to Hawaii supports forest fire fightingIn 2022, California deployed firefighters, disaster management experts and other personnel to Oregon, New Mexico and Montana.
