Police respond to double shooting in Gaston County – WSOC TV

GASTON COUNTY, NC — Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds this afternoon, according to Gaston County Emergency Services.

Police said they were called to the scene around 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Officials said two victims were transported from the area of ​​1800 Lane Road Ext near Mount Holly.

Police later confirmed that both victims were under 18 years old.

According to rescue workers, one person suffered serious injuries, the other is not in danger of dying.

Police do not believe there is a danger to the public

There is currently no information on the ages of the victims, any suspects, or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. However, we do know that no suspects are currently in custody.
