One dead in early morning accident in Kalamazoo | WKZO | Everything about Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety continues its investigation into a car crash that left a Kalamazoo man dead.

On Saturday, officers responded to the area of ​​S Pitcher and Southtown St at around 12:23 a.m. after a one-car rollover accident was reported.

When officers arrived, they found three people involved in the accident. One person had been thrown from the vehicle.

The person, 45-year-old Brayton Jones, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was treated at the scene and pronounced dead en route to a nearby hospital.

It is not known whether the other two people involved in the accident sustained injuries.

The department is asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information to contact KDPS or Silent Observer.
