10-year-old girl sexually abused; karate teacher sentenced to 110 years in prison – KERALA – CRIME

MUNDAKKAYAM: A karate instructor has been sentenced to 110 years in prison and a fine of Rs 2.75 lakhs for sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl. It was Justice Roshan Thomas of the Erattupetta Fast Track Special Court who sentenced Mohanan PP (51), a native of Mundakkayam, for sexually abusing the minor girl in Mundakkayam in 2023.

The court also directed that the amount of fine be paid to the survivor. The incident related to the case took place on September 17 last year. Shine Kumar, the SHO of Mundakkayam police station, investigated the case. Special Public Prosecutor Adv. Jose Mathew Thayil appeared for the prosecution.
